Bridal Shower Newlywed Game – If you are hosting a bridal shower then you know you have to have some bridal shower games at the party. Most of the game is simple and has been used for a long time, however, we have one match everyone will really love. This is called the “almost” the newlywed Game.
This game will take a little advance planning, but it will generate a lot of laughter and surprise guests, your answer and did not expect. You will need to make some inquiries with our brides, “almost” newlyweds. If the shower will be rather small maybe 12-15 questions will suffice. a larger event would need perhaps 18 to 24 questions.
To make Your bridal shower planning easier I have listed some of the questions below that may be of use. Simply select the one that you like and write them on index cards, one question per card. You probably have the same amount of questions as a guest to attend if the shower will be small, a larger bathroom You can have one or two questions per table.
We will return to this in a moment, as far as the specific question you will want some easy and some tough questions that you would ask the groom first, before the bridal shower, the bridal party days later. Questions such as “where the two of you met first?” or “what is your favorite restaurant to eat at other people?”
Once you have the list of questions schedule a little time alone with the groom away from her fiance ‘. Ask him the questions you choose and record the answers on a separate sheet of paper. Tell him he is not allowed to share the questions asked or mentioned one of the answer.
Next in the bathroom getting everyone in their seats and tell them we will all learn a little about our future newlyweds with some personal questions. Tell everyone that you ask the groom a certain number of questions, and we will now be asking the same question bride and see how well they know each other.
Pass out index cards (with just one question each) for your guests, or in the case of the larger bridal shower, one or two cards per table. The cards are numbered from one thru? and give the table number one, single cards, table number two, two cards, or you can call the “who has the card number one?”
All questions will be read by each guest or a representative of the table, but the bride will not be answered at this time. He was listening and not making movement to one of the questions. After all read asking everyone to take a guess as to how much this question the bride would guess correctly. They can write their guesses in the upper corner of the index card.
How to Play: Before the bridal shower, ask the groom 20 questions (or so) about the bride and their relationship: Where was your first kiss? What’s his most annoying habit? Which of these are you most likely to fight about: messiness, social plans, or wedding stress? At the bridal shower, ask the bride the same questions and see how many answers they have in common.
If you’re tech-savvy, film the groom answering the questions (or use a tape recorder); and play back his answers for everyone to see and hear (allow for a pause between questions). But remember your audience — don’t ask questions about the first time they spent the night together if grandma is going to be there.
Bonus Round: How well do the guests know the bride? Have the groom — whether on video, tape recorder, or listed on a sheet of paper — ask the guests questions about the bride. “What does she say before she goes to bed?” “What is her favorite ice cream flavor?” “What is the name of her alter ego?” See who gets the most right.
